Juan received his B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University (PSU) in 2018, and worked for the aerospace company, PteroDynamics, after graduation as an Aerodynamics Engineer. He joined the University of California, Davis in 2022 to pursue his graduate studies with a focus in applied aerodynamics. His research focused on drag prediction using and boundary-layer transition modeling using CFD. In his free time, Juan enjoys playing guitar, flying/building RC airplanes, and watching Formula 1 racing.
