Esther Kung (they/them)

Esther Kung is a class of 2026 undergraduate student pursuing a double major in aerospace science and engineering and mechanical engineering. Passionate about all fields in aeronautics from fixed-wing flight to rotorcraft dynamics, Esther founded Project Tiltwing to electrify the namesake lift-plus-cruise concept and analyse its aerodynamics with their undergraduate research team. With that, they aim to inspire their fellow peers to fall in love with aerospace engineering. Outside of studies, Esther is an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys hiking and mountain biking. In their leisure time, Esther likes to write poetry, compose piano pieces, and cook up new recipes.
